Project Engineer Job in MinErgy Private Limited at Kathmandu, Nepal

Job Summary

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (preferably in energy/ mechanical)
Experience: minimum 2 years with experience in HVAC design
Strong fundamentals on relevant subjects like heat transfer, thermodynamics
Basic understanding of building physics and HVAC system is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project or equivalent

Assist in planning and conducting baseline surveys to evaluate operational energy used in buildings in Nepal
Assist in conducting baseline survey and stakeholder consultations
Assist in developing manuals / guidelines, case studies etc. for energy efficient building design, resource-efficient materials etc.
Assist in organizing design charrettes (or 3-4 day intensive design workshops) through support in design of building HVAC and other services
Assist in developing and organizing training program on efficient HVAC strategies in buildings for different building sector stakeholders
Participate in on-site monitoring and carry out performance monitoring of buildings
Assist in market assessment of alternative building materials for EE building design
Assist in design, development and installation of renewable energy technologies to enhance building performance
Support in promotion and dissemination of energy efficient building designs in partner municipalities
Represent project at conferences, round-tables, committees or working groups
Assist in preparing information leaflets/brochures and other marketing materials for awareness building
Perform other functions as required and directed by the Senior Architect
