- Experience: minimum 8 years’ experience in marketing, finance and/or business development sector
- Good understanding of business support services such as financing, sales and marketing
- Strong networking, partnership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and in writing
- Computer proficiency in MS word, excel, and power point is required
- Ability to travel within Nepal 20-30 percent of the time
Responsibilities
- Design and implement marketing plan to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in building and construction sectors
- Assess baseline of Building – Medium Small & Micro Enterprises (Building-MSMEs) to understand their market share, supply chain, their existing marketing strategy and challenges
- Support Building-MSMEs to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in building and construction sectors
- Prepare relevant communication materials to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in building and construction sectors
- Support awareness campaigns for building end-users to adopt efficiency measures and resource-efficient materials
- Assist in development of financial product and services in coordination with financial institutions
- Assist in Building-MSMEs to utilize financial instruments to adopt energy efficiency measures
- Engage with relevant government partners, real estate developers, builders, building materials promoters, donors, implementers, and other stakeholders active in building construction sector
- Prepare terms of references, agreement for implementing partners and manage selected implementing partners
- Work with the program management team for coordination, planning, writing and timely submission of key strategic documents, such as the annual plans, budgets, reports, and other ad-hoc strategy documents
- Undertake monitoring visits to relevant private sector partners and service providers and report on project progress and constraints.
- Represent project at conferences, round-tables, committees or working groups as assigned by the Team Leader
- Perform other functions as required and directed by the Team Leader
