Supervise, plan, and coordinate research activities
Conduct data analysis using SPSS, STATA, or other software for descriptive and inferential analysis
Conduct real time data review during field work; ability to immediately audit the data and provide instant feedback to the field team
Ability to review data on MS Excel
Ability to provide sampling strategy for different type of study; knowledge of different type of sampling approach for different setting (random, cluster based, stratified); excellent technical knowledge on applying statistics
Ability to transfer and cascade knowledge of basic statistics to other staff
Ability to resolve client concerns and feedback on data analysis, sampling, and statistics
Support in facilitation and administering data collection training when required with the coordinator at central level and field
Tools development in digital mobile application/ digitize questionnaire
Ability to provide writing in excellent English as interpretation for tables and graphs exported
Coordinate with all team members for applicable work
Supervision of enumerators /other researchers
Management of all database of the company
Able to meet deadline/timeline at all times and strictly follow privacy policy of organization
Excellent quality assurance, data analysis planning from developed tools
Able to work in a fast-paced setting and multitask
Requirements
Good English and excellent Nepali skills for communication and writing
Master’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Math, or relevant to the role from a reputed/recognized University
3-4 years’ experience specifically in data analysis, sampling, database management, and statistics
Knowledge of mobile data collection application and statistical data analysis packages – SPSS, STATA or other similar
Excellent computing skills; word, excel, email, etc. and formatting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Honest and dedicated to the organization’s values; push the agenda of the company forward
