Advertising account executives contribute to and develop advertising campaigns.
Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and the advertising agency
Working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client’s brief budget and monitoring the effectiveness of the campaign;
Monitoring work progress and keeping in contact with clients at all stages;
Presenting alongside agency colleagues (particularly the account manager), the campaign ideas, Budget to the client, managing campaign costs and invoicing clients;
Working with the account manager to brief media, creative and research staff and assisting with the formulation of marketing strategies
Making along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency.
Continuously offer unsolicited ideas to increase the effectiveness of the client’s company and marketing activities.
Requirements
Prior 2-3 years of similar experience in an advertising agency is a must.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
A proactive attitude, team working skills the ability to use initiative
The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail
Influencing and negotiation skills
Oral and written communication skills
A passion for advertising and an understanding of what makes a good advertisement with commercial awareness
IT literacy and an awareness of how the industry is developing in light of new communication technologies;
