Candidate should have working knowledge of Design Calculations such as Load List Preparation, Cable Sizing, Preparation of lighting & grounding calculations, Cable tray sizing calculations
Have a good knowledge of various types of equipment used in the projects and selection of the equipments like transformers, HT & LT switch gears, cables, earthing, conducting, lightning protection equipment, instruments transformers etc
Study tender specifications and ensure the project is carried out as per the same
Prepare the final designs, discuss the same with consultants/architects and get final approvals
Submit and get an approval of technical data sheets of equipment from consultants including approval on any deviations.
Interact with customers/consultants for understanding technical requirements and implementing the same.
Apply value engineering to reduce the cost of the project.
Coordination with Purchase for timely material ordering.
Preparation of final Bills of Quantity (BOQ) and variation statement
Ensure overall Customer Satisfaction and continuously strive to improve CSI in the Region / Branch.
Give support to the sales team in vetting the BOQ and tender specifications to be quoted whenever desired by the sales team.
Requirements
Education Qualification: B.Tech (Electrical)
Must have 5+ years of experience in Designing
Must have knowledge of AutoCAD, E3D, SP3D, REVIT and MS word and MS Excel.
